Sponsorship Information

To help raise money to cover the costs of running our Community Concert Series, we are asking friends of the Orchestra to help us either by sponsoring us or by purchasing an Ad in one of our Family and Friends programme books.

Why SAO Sponsorship Matters

The Strings Attached Orchestra (SAO) is a charitable organization that brings amateur musicians together and helps them grow musically and perform in the community. There is a great demand in Toronto for live musical performances for audiences of the elderly and children, and an integral part of our program is playing outreach concerts in places such as retirement homes, community centres and children’s programs in schools and libraries. We see the appreciation on the faces of our audiences and watch them move to the music as we play. Our audience members in retirement homes tell us how the music brings back fond memories and the children show curiosity about our instruments and are inspired to explore making music themselves.

None of this would be possible without the help of our generous sponsors. You can help us reach over 1,000 people this year – older, younger and everything in between – with our music. There is no better feeling than knowing that you have brought music to the hearts and souls of people who would not normally be able to experience a live orchestra up close.
