Welcome to Strings Attached Orchestra (SAO) Season 10!
SAO is an un-auditioned adult amateur orchestra. We welcome players at all levels. New players are welcome to attend one or two rehearsals at any time during the year to determine if the orchestra is a good fit for them. After two rehearsals, new players who would like to continue are expected to join the orchestra and submit their membership form and member contribution. Membership Information
As a member-driven community orchestra, we operate on a volunteer basis with a few basic expectations of our members.
- Attend the majority of weekly rehearsals (Zoom option is available for those who are out of town or otherwise unable to attend in person)
- Perform at community concerts and Holiday and Season Finale concerts
- Volunteer in at least one area listed on the membership form below
Additional Payment Information
Thank you in advance for filling out your Season 10 membership form. Details about payment options for your member contribution are listed below:
- Interac Email Transfer (Preferred) – Please send your payment to donations@stringsattachedorchestra.com. Note that auto-deposit is enabled, so you will not need to use a password.
- Credit Card: Please submit payments through our CanadaHelps page at: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/strings-attached-orchestra/events/sao-season-10-membership/
- Cheque made out to Strings Attached Orchestra – these can either be submitted either in person at rehearsal or mailed out to

You will receive a charitable tax donation receipt from CanadaHelps upon submission of your member contribution. This should happen automatically when you pay using a credit card. If using Interac or cheque, you should receive the emailed charitable tax receipt within 1-2 days of our receiving your payment.
Please note that in order to receive a link to the music download we must have already received your member contribution payment.
